The co–products of T&R Pastoral’s meat supply have themselves become a high–demand part of the company.

Like the Hides & Skins Division which is EU–accredited.

Because of the quality of the beasts that pass through the premises for meat, it creates an opportunity to produce similar quality co–products; larger animals yield commensurately larger hides and skins.

So 95% of the company’s drum–salted sheep rawskins are bound for export to places like Turkey, China, Europe and Britain for garment production.

T&R is also one of Australia’s largest individual wool suppliers, using the clip taken in preparation for slaughter.

This wool is carefully classed according to Australian Wool Testing Authority standards, so buyers can purchase with confidence without having to visually assess each lot.
